#GallstoneRecovery Day 7 Update 2: Not cleared for takeoff just yet — my return-to-work green light won’t come until Tuesday, May 27th. As for the Freddy Krueger-level pain, Dr. Thomas suspects it’s likely trapped air still lingering in my body (rude). Hello lovlies, it's been a minute, heck- quite a few from the looks of it. Who knew my life would be what it is now. I am loving Charleston as always, and I still work for the Port. Although in 2025- things may change. So many changes in logistics since Covid happened. I finished my AAS degree in Supply Chain Management. Only took your girl 30 years to do it. Sometimes the things we most, come later in life. It wasn't easy, and I still hate Math. Always will. It's not my cup of tea. Put me in an English class, writing, history... anything other than those math classes. I'll make it work. I am looking at going further, the question is which way?   As businesses navigate economic challenges, pay restructures have become a critical tool for maintaining financial stability while ensuring operational efficiency. The logistics sector, where workforce costs constitute a significant portion of the expenses, must carefully implement these changes to remain sustainable. When several states went into lockdown or experienced statewide closures due to weather conditions, even a few days without vessels and containers moving in and out of the ports resulted in significant financial losses.
