who have you lost

when you hear that a friend lost someone close to you, the first thing that runs through your mind, is the ones you have lost.. Knowing what they are going through sympathy comes into play. No one wants to see a friend hurting, or going through a difficult time, but we all do. We have to remember that everyone deals with loss differently. None of us go through it the same..

Granted there are those that you gravitate towards that deal with things in a like manner, I have touched on this before.. but still EACH of us deals with Death in their own way.. ME, I cry at first hearing about it, then I just ignore it, act as if they were never gone.. I just lose touch with them.. that is easier for me then actually saying they are GONE, dead, never to return.. But see they do return to me, in dreams, and conversations.. When comments the living have never uttered before nor likely to again. It's those moments that we know their still here with me..

Even from afar and the unknown to a place I can not cross too....except in my dreams...

I have no idea why i am even writing about this, nor have I lost anyone recently that I know of as of yet.. but someone I care about lost someone close to them I haven't been called yet, but I know in a few days it will trickle to me.. How do I know.

Dreams.. when I dream of birth, there is a passing, when I dream of loss there is a birth.. I dreamt of both today and well i sit back and wait... for the news...

#GallstoneRecovery Day 7 Update 2: Not cleared for takeoff just yet — my return-to-work green light won’t come until Tuesday, May 27th. Hello lovlies, it's been a minute, heck- quite a few from the looks of it. Who knew my life would be what it is now. I am loving Charleston as always, and I still work for the Port. Although in 2025- things may change. So many changes in logistics since Covid happened. I finished my AAS degree in Supply Chain Management. Only took your girl 30 years to do it. Sometimes the things we most, come later in life. It wasn't easy, and I still hate Math. Always will. It's not my cup of tea. Put me in an English class, writing, history... anything other than those math classes. I'll make it work. I am looking at going further, the question is which way?
